Four-Year College or University
- A public or private educational institution where you can earn a bachelors degree. These schools vary in size, admissions criteria, academic standards, course offerings, student population, location, and cost. In most colleges or university programs, you are expected to sample a variety of courses during the first two years and then focus on your major in the last two years. Requirements for graduation differ, although most colleges require a certain number of credits in English and foreign languages.
